Millions of women around the world use an anti-aging device known as anti-wrinkle creams. These creams are mainly used to extort wrinkles, or reduce wrinkles on a womanas face. Wrinkle creams are made by almost every beauty product manufacturer, and they fit the needs of all skin types and races.

Before buying an anti-aging cream, you must do research to find your exact skin type. A dermatologist visit is highly recommended, but not necessary. Beings there are only three main skin types you should be able to find yours. First there is oily skin, a condition in which the face is too oily; for this type you need an oil-free cream which will keep your skin healthy. Second there is dry skin, a condition in which the face does not retain enough moisture; for this type you need an oily cream with moisturizers. Third there is combination skin, a skin type with a combination of both oily and dry patches; for this skin type it is recommended you contact a dermatologist to obtain the right cream for you.

Ingredients in anti-wrinkle creams are also something you must take into consideration because some may actually be harmful in the long run. Anti-aging creams that contain sunscreen with a high sun protection factor are the best because they prevent sun damage which is a primary cause of wrinkles in the first place.

Some of the most harmful ingredients in wrinkle cream include: Formaldehyde, dioxins, Propylene Glycol, mineral oil, albumin, and parabens. These ingredients, meant to help your wrinkles, can cause serious health conditions including liver damage, kidney damage, and even skin cancer. These health conditions are no joke, further emphasizing the need to research your wrinkle cream before use.

Some leading makers of anti-wrinkle creams are using medical grade ingredients as well as natural compounds in order to enhance the effectiveness of their products. Some of these creams are so popular that they are sometimes hard to come by in stores.

After all of your research it is finally time to buy an anti-wrinkle cream. Before purchasing the product, though, make sure you consult the beauty expert on how long it takes on average to see results. Also make sure to ask what to do in the case of breakouts or reactions to the product. One last thing you need to ask before purchasing the cream is what products will work well with it to prevent and terminate wrinkles.

Anti-aging creams are a better option to botox injections or even plastic surgery mainly because they are much less expensive. The downside however is that it may take some time before you find one that suits you. The other thing is that they do actually take long before results start to show so patience is necessary.

To decrease the amount of time needed to see results, there are many other products which work very well in company to the anti-wrinkle creams. Facial scrubs, for example, remove dead layers of skin, revealing a much younger looking skin. Another effective method is the use of facial exercises; these exercises should not be used without consulting an expert, though. To sum things up, a healthy diet, plenty of exercise, and a good anti-wrinkle cream will leave you looking very youthful.
